April 2018 Food Totals

Vegetables:

75 oz Savoy cabbage
15 oz salad greens (miners lettuce, arugula, spring onion)
41.5 oz chard
11 oz leek
1.5 oz mizuna
13.5 oz kale
4 oz Brussels sprouts and tops
57 oz spring cabbage
2.5 oz bean sprouts
11 oz sprouting broccoli

Total: 232 oz, or 14 lb 8 oz

Note:  I weigh all my vegetables after preparation:  peeling, trimming, etc.  Does not include fresh herbs which were too small an amount to weigh, i.e. less than 0.5 oz.

Fruit:

No fruit harvested

Eggs:

Total: 119 eggs from 10 hens (lost another hen this month)
Total feed bought: 1 bag layers pellets (20kg) and 1 bag chick crumb (20kg)

Preserves:

 2 small jars fermented carrots (own garlic, bought carrots)


Homebrew:  

Cider still fermenting
No new homebrew begun
